Clinical Rotations Coordinator for Physician Assistant Studies.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Coordinate student clinical rotations for Physician Assistant students.  Maintain accurate clinical information database for clinical rotation sites and student assignments while integrating with the Rocky Vista University Clinical Affairs department.

  1. Responsible for coordinating and scheduling student clinical rotations and responsible for resolving schedule conflicts and related student concerns with their assignments.
  2. Ensure all student documents are complete in a timely manner for rotations
  3. Maintain accurate clinical information database for clinical rotations sites, clinical faculty, and student assignments.
  4. Provide oversight for the evaluation process, completeness and timeliness of evaluation required of students, clinical faculty and clinical sites.
  5. Maintain the database of evaluations of students, clinical faculty and clinical sites and provide to those with need to know and utilize the information.
  6. Maintain accurate affiliation agreements and commitment documents for all PA rotations per ARC-PA standards.
  7. Ensure that all evaluations are received timely according to policy.
  8. Provide assistance and support to the Clinical Affairs.
  9. Other duties as assigned by PAS Program Director or his/her designee.
  1. Assist Administration, faculty and staff in special projects as required.
  2. Participate in community and professional outreach activities on behalf of the college and university.
  1. Demonstrate data skills with Windows Microsoft, Excel, Adobe and Outlook
  2.  Outstanding organizational and communication skills
  3. Ability to work with confidential material with attention to detail
  4. Ability to multi-task and problem solve innovatively
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team-based multicultural environment
  6. Demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills

  1. Associate’s Degree or 5 years equivalent work experience in education or healthcare.

  1. Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Experience in PA education
  3. Experience with a clinical tracking system
