Rocky Vista University in Ivins, Utah has an immediate opening for a
full-time Admissions Coordinator.  

The position will pay between $30,000 and $40,000, commensurate with experience.  RVU offers a full benefit package that includes 401(k), Health, Dental and Vision insurance, paid vacation, sick and holidays.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:  Assist Admissions Department in the development and implementation of an effective admissions program to achieve the mission of the College and University.     
  1. Serve as a member of the Admissions Team.
  2. Responsible for data entry and data management in Jenzabar including all telephone, written and email inquires final transcripts and letters of recommendation.
  3. Assist in coordination and facilitation of candidate interview day. Sends applicant materials to interviewers.  Assists with preparation of interviewer packets and sign-in sheets. Conducts welcome session and Q & A sessions on interview days.  Prepares interview grid for Admissions Committee meetings.  Interact in a friendly, informative and professional manner.
  4. Responsible for downloading and editing of AACOMAS applications
  5. Serve as backup to Admissions Counselor for providing campus tours and responding to basic admissions inquiries.
  6. Responsible for assembling grids for Admissions Committee under supervision of the Admissions Counselor.
  7. Maintain knowledge of university academic programs, admissions standards, financial aid, scholarship opportunities and student life.
  8. Maintain a positive attitude that will promote a healthy cultural climate in the Admissions Department.
  9. Assist with requested reports including Weekly Status Reports.
  10. Participate in special assignments not limited to admissions and marketing.
  11. Serve on committees at the request of supervisor, the Dean and/or his designee.
  12. Other duties as assigned by the Dean and/or his designee.

  5. Demonstrate strong computer skills
  6. Demonstrate time management skill and meet deadlines.
  7. Advanced computer skills including Excel and Access.
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer skills.
  1. Previous experience at an accredited university, health profession college, or medical school.
  2. Current software used by the College or University
