Rocky Vista University in Parker, CO has an immediate opening for a
Clinical Rotations Coordinator for 4th Year Students in the Department of Clinical Medicine.

Coordinate student clinical rotations for OMSIII and OMSIV.  Maintain accurate clinical information database for clinical rotation sites and student assignments.
  1. Responsible for coordinating and scheduling student clinical rotations, schedule conflicts and related student concerns with their rotation assignments.
  2. Ensure that all student documents are completed in a timely manner before, during and after clinical rotations.
  3. Maintain accurate clinical information database for clinical rotation sites, clinical faculty, and student assignments.
  4. Recruit new doctors and sites to the RVU rotation base.
  5. Provide support for administering and proctoring, shelf exams and focus groups.
  6. Provide oversight for the evaluation process, completeness and timeliness of evaluation required of students, clinical faculty and clinical sites.
  7. Provide support and assist the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs and the Clinical Affairs Manager.
  8. Other duties as assigned by the Dean or his/her designee.
  1. Assist administration, faculty and staff in special projects as required.
  2. Participate in community and professional outreach activities on behalf of the college and university.

  1. Outstanding organizational and communication skills
  2. Demonstrate intermediate skill level of data entry knowledge and computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. 
  3. Ability to work with confidential material with an attention to detail.
  4. Ability to multi-task and problem solve innovatively.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team-based multi-cultural environment.
  6. Demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  7. Excellent interpersonal skill.
  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in medical education.

  1. Master’s Degree
  2. Work experience at a College of Osteopathic Medical School
  3. Work experience in a Residency Program.
