Rocky Vista University in Parker, CO has an immediate opening for 
Information Technology Help Desk Support.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:       Troubleshoot all information technology issues, including software, hardware, and networking. Install and update desktops, laptops, PDAs, peripherals, networks, and related software.
  1. Perform end-user support including problem determination, problem resolution, and implement problem escalation and tracking as required.
  2. Coordinate and oversee computer upgrades, software rollouts and other IT related projects
  3. Support Smart phone connections to email system for calendars, email and contact synchronization
  4. Utilize tools to monitor work assignments, trouble tickets, network, systems and connectivity.
  5. Maintain inventory and works with vendor’s warrantee service and hardware support contracts
  6. Communicates and interfaces with management.
  7. Other duties as assigned by the CTO or his designee.
  1. Assist administration, faculty, and staff in special projects as needed.
  2. Participate in community and professional outreach activities on behalf of the college and university.

  1. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable dealing with high-level executives as well as other end-users.
  2. Should be self-motivated, with good analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to learn on the job.
  3. Must have the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems over the phone as well as on-site.
  4. In-depth and hands-on experience with Microsoft Technologies specifically focused on the Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10, and Internet technologies.
  5. Knowledge of standard PC, laptop, and peripheral configurations.
  6. Candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  7. Must have 1-3 years of on-the-job experience in both hardware and software support and at least 1 year experience in direct Customer Support Services.
